Michelle Lapointe named new Marina Manager in the Channel Islands Harbor
Vintage Marina Partners has recently added new talent to its management team in the Channel Islands Harbor. Michelle Lapointe has been promoted to Marina Manager of Vintage Marina and Channel Island Harbor Marina and will begin on March 1st, 2011. “I am very excited about creating a sense of community among our employees and Vintage Marina tenants. I will be out on the marinas getting to know everyone, so please stop and say hi!,” relays Michelle Lapointe of her new role.
Michelle began working as an employee of Vintage Marina Partners in October of 2009 as a customer service representative; however, her history with the company goes back much further. Michelle has been a tenant of Vintage Marina Partners for the past twenty years; her husband and she still keep a boat in a Vintage slip. Michelle’s extensive history with the company, knowledge of the local area and close relationships with marina tenants will greatly benefit her community building and management goals. Relationship building is an activity she enjoys and will certainly be evident as she spends time walking the docks and getting to know her customers.
As Marina Manager Michelle will organize maintenance projects, manage all customer accounts, and execute exciting new boater events for Vintage Marina Partner tenants. “We are all very excited to have Michelle as our new Marina Manager. She is an excellent addition to our management team and we expect many successes due to her leadership,” says Brian Dunn, General Manager of Vintage Marina Partners.
Michelle Lapointe will continue her thriving career as the new Marina Manager with tenants and employees alike profiting from the skill set she brings to the position.
